  • As an Alerts Developer at Nasdaq, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of alerts and reports written in both Java and a proprietary event driven language, gaining experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • You will need to work collaboratively with the business in translating client requirements and business strategies into market surveillance alerts and reports.
  • You will be a highly talented computer science or software engineering graduate who has a solid grip on JAVA Development and is familiar in with the Linux/Unix environment.

  • Rising college juniors, seniors or first year graduate students in computer science and business or Finance .
  • Demonstrated Extra-Curricular Achievements/Leadership (active in a club, volunteering, etc.).
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Prior Internship a Strong Plus.
  • Strong developing skills in JAVA
  • Experience developing in Linux/Unix environment
  • Experience in designing algorithms to meet requirements
  • Experience with subversion or GIT
  • Experience with or interest in Capital Markets
