Part of our team building the Market Surveillance solution for Exchanges and Regulators, you will be working on the following:

  • Reviewing documentation to learn the domain and server applications and to understand the main use cases (about 1 to 2 weeks)
  • Reviewing technical documentation source code for selected module / layers to develop an understand of the underlying technology and update / creation of technical documentation (about 2 to 4 weeks)
  • Implementation of various small new features of the server applications (about 4 weeks)
  • For exceptionally capable candidates, there is an option to implement more size-able new features to the source base (about 1 to 3 weeks)

At the end of the internship you can expect the following:

  • Acquiring basic understanding of the market surveillance domain
  • Acquiring a basic understanding of professional software product development
  • Acquiring some practical experience with approaches to development, testing and potential and limitations of test automation
  • exposure to complex real-world software architecture and source base

 

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications

  • Rising uni juniors, seniors or graduate students pursuing degrees in Computer Science or Information Technology majors.

  • A keen interest in programming and the ability to demonstrate this interest by .

  • Demonstrated Extra-Curricular Achievements/Leadership (active in a club, volunteering, etc.).
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Prior Internship a Strong Plus.
